Nach einem Überblick über die Reaktion der Philosophen auf die Erkenntnisse der modernen Physik wird hier in Ermangelung umfassender Studien mit einem Querschnitt durch die Rezeptionsgeschichte bis 1970 und in Einzelanalysen zu Robert Musil, Hermann Broch, Ernst Jünger, Gottfried Benn, Carl Einstein, Bertholt Brecht, Friedrich Dürrenmatt, Max Bense und Wolfgang Koeppen nachgewiesen, daß die Quantentheorie auf die Ausbildung moderner literarischer Konzepte entscheidenden Einfluß nahm. However, one of the basic theories of modern physics, quantum theory, touches central problems of philosophy and literature.§The present study opens with an overview of philosopher's reaction to the findings of modern physics, and then proceeds to a survey of reception of quantum theory up to 1970 and to individual studies of Robert Musil, Hermann Broch, Ernst Jünger, Gottfried Benn, Friedrich Dürrenmatt, Max Bense and Wolfgang Koeppen.
