Advanced Bioconversion of Liquid Waste Resources into Organic Acid

Industrial and food processing liquid wastes often contain complex sugars, which require high oxygen levels to breakdown if disposed into water bodies. Using selected bacteria, these sugars can be efficiently converted to useful organic chemicals, such as lactic acid. This approach not only minimizes pollutants emission into surface water, but also provides an economically viable as well as strives at due diligence, protects public health and safety, and desirable sustainable practice.
